The beauty of Toille (also Toile) is timeless.  History dates its origin to the 1700's.  While designing our faceless handmade dolls, we found this beautiful navy blue country scene pattern and could not resist the temptation to design a dress. Navy blue piping was inserted in the skirt, sleeves, hat, and collar as accent.  Skirt has a 54"  circumference at bottom.    Overall doll length 23".  Navy blue ribbon on hat.
